Fatal Inertia Demo

Did anyone else try out the Fatal Inertia demo? I ask because the controls did not seem to follow what the pre-game picture showed them to be. For example the picture shows the A button was thrust and the RT was strafe right, but when I hit the right trigger it was my accelerator. Anyone else have this? After spending some time and figuring out most of the controls I still had a lot of trouble with Fatal Inertia. I was thinking there would be a lot more attacking going on, but really it is a racing game with a few attacking options throw in. I was thinking it would be more on the lines of Full Auto. I spent a little while trying it out, but ultimately I could not keep the vehicle on the track and wrecked myself enough times to blow up. Once that happened I gave up and wen ton to other things.

  • I had a similar experience, though the controls worked like they were supposed to for me. What I had the most trouble with, was having to deal with up, and down, as well as left, and right.

I figured the control stick just controlled the left, and right, at first, but then when I kept on crashing into the ground, I figured it out. I think it's just too much to think about, when you're going so fast, and the controls didn't feel super tight either.

  • I was bummed this demo wasn't available to Canadian subscribers but after reading your review, I'm now indifferent!

  • So you just review demos, huh? That's it? Rickey's blog is far superior to yours. Check it out for an example how how a blog is done.

  • Ricky - I review whatever I'm currently playing. That has been some demos recently, but I'm just getting into All-Pro Football 2K8 so watch for a review on that soon.
